CLTS Waiver Transition

Has your child recently transitioned from the CLTS waiver to the new behavioral treatment benefit through ForwardHealth (WI Medicaid)?
From Autism Society of Wisconsin Executive Director, Kirsten Cooper:

The Autism Society of Wisconsin, along with the Southeastern and South Central affiliates, have a meeting scheduled with DHS to discuss some concerns about access to the new behavioral treatment benefit through Medicaid. We’ve been hearing concerns from the community about a 45 hour limit (between therapy and school) and that the Prior Authorization process is cumbersome and overwhelming. To be most effective in our meeting, we’re looking for families (or providers) to share their direct experiences concerning these matters.

If you or anyone you know would be willing to share their story we would greatly appreciate it. Our meeting is scheduled for August 12th so we’d like to have stories in by August 10th to give us time to prepare.

We’re also conducting another short survey to gather information from families. This survey is for families who have transitioned from the CLTS waiver to the new behavioral treatment benefit through ForwardHealth. Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AutismMA2016
